CHRIST NATIONS

WHO WE ARE

Christ Nations Church is a non-denominational Church called to bring men and women into God’s plan for their lives. Our ministry mandate is to teach every person who they are in Christ and who they are destined to become. Christ Nations has various ministries and outreaches to serve the body of Christ and the city of Texarkana. We aspire to model the glory of God in our lives, reveal His Kingdom on Earth, and raise up “Ambassadors for Christ”.

OUR LEADERS

Iran and Star Pitre are the Senior Pastors of Christ Nations Church. Since their marriage in 2008, they've endeavored to fulfill God's purpose. Before accepting the position as Lead Pastors they served the ministry in many capacities, as well as establishing a podcast that spoke to the socio-political issues of our times with a Biblical worldview.  They believe that Christ is the answer to every issue in society. As explained by C.S. Lewis, "I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else."

Iran and Star live in Texarkana, TX with their two children, Caleb and Maya.

Our Leaders

PASTOR IRAN PITRE

In a world of new age philosophy and vain conceits it's the church's unique calling and purpose to preach the gospel far and wide. At age seventeen, this charge ignited Pastor Iran’s passion for Christ and the church. Respected as a gifted teacher and minister, Pastor Iran transitioned to full time ministry in the year 2000. He has ministered faithfully at Christ Nations Church in various capacities for over 21 years. He’s had the opportunity to travel abroad, ministering in churches, conferences, and prison. His promotion to Senior Pastor has been the culmination of a lifetime of service. In ministering the gospel, it’s his intention to amplify the preeminence of God’s word. His calling is to equip believers with the knowledge and wisdom of God to live mature and victorious lives.

OUR CORE VALUES

one

FAITH

We exalt the Word of God as the source of our faith, the rule of our conduct and the foundation for life. We are committed to the revealed will of God in scripture. We aim to conduct life and ministry by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God.

two

FAMILY

It is said that the saga of a nation is the saga of its families writ large. A guidepost for our ministry is to foster the formation and longevity of the family. We believe the backbone of a strong and effective ministry are healthy families.

three

SPIRITUAL MATURITY

We are a teaching ministry that aims to take the believer from milk to meat and present every man perfect in Christ, that they may represent His kingdom, life & glory.

MINISTRY
CULTURE

EXCELLENCE
We want to glorify God with our effort to pursue progress in all that we do in the kingdom. We aim to do whats right, because it’s right and then do it right.

ACCOUNTABILITY

Work as unto the Lord. Also be accountable to those with whom you serve.

ATTITUDE

Serve the Lord with gladness!!! The attitude we have when we serve God is as important as the service itself

DISCIPLESHIP (SUCCESSION)

The life blood of the Kingdom of God is discipleship. The ability to cultivate the next generation is the only way to secure the longevity of the churches influence in society.

TENETS OF FAITH

The life blood of the Kingdom of God is discipleship. The ability to cultivate the next generation is the only way to secure the longevity of the churches influence in society.

THE SCRIPTURES INSPIRED

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to man, the infallible rule of faith and conduct, and is superior to conscience and reason, but not contrary to reason. (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Peter 1:23-25; Hebrews 4:12)

MAN, HIS FALL & REDEMPTION

Man was created good and upright, for God said, "let us make man in Our image, after Our likeness." But man fell by voluntary transgression, and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ the Son of God. (Genesis 1:26-31; Genesis 3:1-7; Romans 5:12-21)

THE EVIDENCE OF SALVATION

The evidence of Salvation. The inward evidence to the believer of his salvation, is the direct witness of the Spirit (Romans 8:16). The outward evidence to all men is the life of righteousness and true holiness. "And this is His commandment, that we believing the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us" (1 John 3:23).

THE CHURCH

The church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of the great commission. Each believer, born of the Spirit, is an integral part of the general assembly and church of the first born, which are written in Heaven. (Ephesians 1:22; 2:19-22; Hebrews 12:23).

THE EVIDENCE OF THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

The full consummation of the Baptism of believers in the Holy Spirit is evidenced by the initial physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the spirit gives utterance, and by the subsequent manifestation of spiritual power in public testimony and service (Acts 2:4; Acts 10:44-48; 19:2, 6, 1:8)

THE ONE TRUE GODHEAD

The triune Godhead is composed of three separate and distinct personalities, The Father, The Son, and Holy Spirit. who are eternally self-existent, self-revealed and function as one entity. Jesus Christ, who is the God manifested in flesh, is the second member of the Godhead, co-equal and co-eternal with The Father and the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19; John 14:9-11; II Corinthians 13:14)

THE SALVATION OF MAN

Man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. On the cross Jesus Christ became sin and sickness providing both salvation and divine healing for all mankind (Psalm 103:3), being justified freely by His Grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. "For by grace we are saved through faith." "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart-that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him form the dead, you shall be saved; for with the hear man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation." (Romans 3:24; Ephesians 2:8; Romans 10:8-10).

THE PROMISE OF THE FATHER

All believers are entitled to, and should ardently expect and earnestly seek, the promise of the Father, the Baptism in the Holy Ghost and Fire, according to the command of your Lord Jesus Christ. This was the normal experience of all in the early Christian Church. With it comes the endowment of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts and their use in the work of the ministry. (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4-8; 1 Cor 12:1-31). This is wonderful experience distinct from and subsequent to the experience of the new birth (Acts 2:38; 10:44-48; 11:14-18; 15:7-9).

FAITH & WORKS

Faith and Works. Salvation is by faith in Jesus Christ and not by human works; however, our works will determine the rewards in eternity (Romans 10:9-1 and II Cor. 5:10).
